Cobourg Firetruck Almost Back In Service

In Local

A firetruck that rolled on its side on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 was returned to the firehall on Thursday, January 10, 2019 suffering only very minor damage.

The apparatus rolled on its side while attending a collision on Elgin Street East in Cobourg on Tuesday morning.

Both firefighters weren’t injured.

The truck was towed away from the scene and sent for repairs.

There was very minor damage to the firetruck, but a few tests have to be conducted before it’s placed back in service which should be very shortly.
