Excessive Speed Results In Stunt Driving Charge

A 17-year-old Port Hope driver who was clocked at 182 kph driving along Highway 401 on Sunday December 16, 2018 was charged with Stunt Driving by Northumberland OPP.
The G2 driver was heading westbound in the area of Port Hope around 11 p.m. when police clocked the vehicle driving nearly twice the posted limit of 100 kph.
The vehicle was impounded for seven days along with his drivers license being suspended for seven days.
The male driver also has Provincial Offences Court date in February in Cobourg.
