Cobourg Police – Male Arrested for Michief

At approximately 7:37 PM on the 2nd day of October, 2018 members of the Cobourg Police Service were dispatched to an address on John Street in the Town of Cobourg. The caller indicated a man had kicked a door in at one of the apartments. On arrival Police spoke with the caller who advised that her boyfriend had become angry and kicked the door to her apartment in. The male was located a short time later at a relative’s residence and arrested for mischief under $5000.00. The accused, a 21 year old male of Cobourg, was transported to the Cobourg Police Service and released on conditions and a court date. The male’s name is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
