Peterborough Police – Sexual Assault Arrest

A 40-year-old Peterborough man has been charged with sexual assault following an incident at the bus terminal.

On September 17, 2018 at approximately 7 p.m. the victim, a female in her late teens, was at the Simcoe Street bus terminal when she was approached by an unknown male and sexually assaulted. The incident was reported to police and officers were dispatched.

A short time later officers located the suspect in the area of Charlotte and Reid Streets.

As a result of the investigation Keith Robert Rader, 40, of Park Street North, was arrested and charged with sexual assault and possession of a schedule II substance (Marijuana under 30 grams).The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on October 11, 2018.
