It is Smile Cookie Week at Tim Horton’s – September 17th – September 23rd
Jane Frost, Jennifer Darrell and Campaign Director Lynda Kay kick off the week for Honouring the Journey Campaign. All locations in Port Hope, Cobourg and Colborne are donating 100% of the proceeds for every smile Cookie sold to the Honouring the Journey Campaign in support of Ed’s House, Northumberland Hospice Care Centre.
A big thank you to local Tim Horton owners Kim and John Meeussen and Ron and Jeri Joyce for their support!
Ed’s House, is a two level facility that will be located in Hamilton Township at the cross roads of Ontario and Olivers Lane. Ed’s House will be a 10 bed hospice – 6 operational and 4 future suites focused on patient care and outreach and education. Ed’s House will offer all the Hospice services currently provided by Community Care Northumberland the lead agency on the project along with providing end of life care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at no cost to those receiving the service.
