Pennywise soared to new heights in Port Hope’s Memorial Park on Friday, August 31, 2018.

Bill Skarsgård plays the scary character Pennywise in the second film from the novel of Stephen King called Largo.

This time the children are grown up, but are still terrorized by Pennywise that is partially being filmed in downtown Port Hope and in Memorial Park.

One of the characters in the film Bill Hader was a delight to adoring fans talking with them in between scenes.

Shooting in Memorial Park was scheduled for earlier in the week, but due to inclement weather was put off until Friday.

Security was extremely tight for the movie with numerous security guards and people from the film directing people where they could and couldn’t stand.

Memorial Park was rented for the day for the movie, but a security guard and a person from the film turfed numerous people from the Port Hope Town Hall grass because they were distracting to the actors.

The 2017 film grossed $700 million.
