Two of the former life guard stands were removed from Cobourg beach on Tuesday, August 7, 2018.

Two new life guard buildings are now in place at an approximate cost of $12,000 each.  The visibility for the new life guard stands is approximately two feet shorter from the ones dismantled.

NOTE: The Town of Cobourg has confirmed each life guard stand costs $10,500.
