Travis Hoover Announces Bid for Cobourg Council Seat

In City Hall, Local

Born and raised in Cobourg, Travis Hoover has always had a deep respect and appreciation for his hometown.
Travis has always been an active volunteer with a wide range of organizations such as the local Blood Donor Clinics and the Cobourg Legion Poppy Drive. He has held a variety of leadership roles with the Cobourg Alliance Church and as Public Relations Officer Cobourg Legion Branch 133. He has always been a youth leader and mentor.
Travis has had many professional leadership experiences as a long time manager of six Tim Horton’s Franchises, responsible for all their day to day activities. Travis was also a Constituency Assistant and Executive Assistant (Toronto) to long-time Northumberland M.P.P. Lou Rinaldi.
It was in that official capacity with Lou that Travis learned first hand the importance of public service.
“There could be no better place to learn what public service means than working for Lou Rinaldi. Every day you worked for Lou you knew without question what it means to serve the public and what an honour that truly is,” said Travis Hoover
“I want the chance to continue using the skills I have learned over my career for the benefit of the citizens of Cobourg. For me, transparency, accountability and creating opportunities will be the hallmark of my time on council should I be so honoured to be elected a member of Council in the upcoming municipal election.”, said Travis Hoover
