GRCA Nature Nuts Camp In Full Swing

In Community, Local

Nature Nuts Camp is in full swing at the Millennium Building, at the Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority offices just off of County Road 28 north of Port Hope.
On Wednesday, July 18, 2018 the Scavenger Hunt was taking place with 21 camp members taking part in the Rockin’ Reptiles and Amazing Amphibians week.
The campers were working in groups looking for questions posted involving reptiles and amphibians.
“This is the camp for all children, whether they already love spending time in nature or simply want to be more comfortable in the natural world,” says Ryan Goodall, one of the program’s teachers. “We know that children who spend time in nature, gain an appreciation for our planet and become the environmental stewards of tomorrow,” he adds.
There are five weeks left, but there are still a few spaces left for Amazing Race (July 23-27), Crime Scene Investigation (August 20-24) and Survival Week 2 (August 27-31)
Have questions about camp or would like to register your child? Contact the GRCA at 905.885.8173 or e-mail at info@grca.on.ca.
