Head Professional at Dalewood, Brad Pemberton, is thrilled to host this level of golf at Dalewood. “It’s a lot of work to get things prepared but it is great to be able to have golfers from all over Ontario play at the course.”  Dalewood has organized a team of over 50 volunteers to ensure the tournament’s success. These volunteers are working with Golf Ontario to cover scoring, starting, spotting and marshalling.

Course superintendent Tyler Ruest indicated the greens staff are excited to showcase the course and the attention to detail that goes into making it a championship course ready for a provincial tournament. “From the staff’s first day back in April we have had this date circled on our calendar and prominently displayed in our lunch room.  Having the opportunity to put a spotlight our golf course and the pride the Turf Team takes in their job day in and day out, it makes events like these special.”

If you are interested in watching the Ontario Senior Men’s Championship at Dalewood, spectators are welcome on course from Tuesday to Thursday. For tournament times and details, go to the Golf Ontario website
