Junior Referee Of The Year In Cobourg

In Hockey

Junior Referee in Chief, Phil Williams presented the Junior Referee of The Year to Jaiden Glenn for the Northumberland Minor Hockey Association.
Glenn is in his third year as referee with the NMHA who attends St Mary School and also umpires in the summer.
“It was unanimous really,” said Williams.
“After consulting with other referees they all talked about what a great job Jaiden does, how respectful he is of all participants on and off the ice and how he always shows up early and is well prepared by game time.”
After approximately 11 years of serving on various executive and volunteer roles with the Cobourg Community Hockey League and Northumberland Minor Hockey Association, Williams said it was an honour to present Glenn with the award before he steps back from volunteering.
