Directionally Challenged Sign on Highway 401

In Editor Choice, Local

It’s not clear if a sign on Highway 401 has been changed since the weekend.  On Sunday, Today’s Northumberland was notified a MTO sign on Highway 401 between Cobourg and Port Hope read, “Traffic Moving Well.”

The next image on the digital sign board stated “To Belleville.”

Unfortunately the sign was facing westbound on Highway 401 towards Toronto and not eastbound which would have been helpful to the traffic heading towards Belleville.
