CONSTRUCTION SITE ACCIDENT RESULTS IN DEATH

(QUINTE WEST) – On Monday the 2nd of April, 2018 at 2:20 PM members of the Quinte West Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Quinte West Fire, and Hasting-Quinte EMS attended a construction site off of Telephone Road.

Initial investigation revealed that a 55 year old male from Quinte West who was working on the construction site had been involved in a workplace related accident and had succumbed to his injuries.

The Regional Coroner’s Office and Ministry of Labour have taken over the investigation.
