Surveillance Image Released of Indecent Act Suspect in Whitby

A 73-year-old male is facing three charges after committing indecent acts at a store in Whitby.

On Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at approximately 4:45 p.m., members of Central West Division responded to an indecent act call at the Walmart on Baldwin Street in Whitby. The suspect entered the business and was observed following two young females. The male was later observed by their parent committing an indecent act while watching the two young girls. The suspect then followed another female within the store until he was pointed out to staff members, at which point he fled, leaving the store without purchasing any items.

The male was also seen committing similar indecent acts at the store on February 8 and 26, 2018.

Antoun ASSAF, age 73 of Tom Edwards Drive in Whitby is charged with Indecent Acts x3. He was released on a Promise to Appear.
