Port Hope Panthers Can Sweep The Series In Next Game Against The Picton Pirates In Tod Division Semi-Final
Three goals in the third period made the difference for the Panthers on Saturday night at the Jack Burger Sports Complex as they beat the Picton Pirates 5-2.
Kallen McFarland opened the scoring for the Panthers at 12:39 of the first period tying up the game with the visiting Pirates.
After Picton scored, Cameron McGill tied it up at 15:31 of the second.
In the third, Port Hope took the lead and never looked back scoring three goals by Evan Foley, Kallen McFarland and Brad Bollert.
Prior to the game two players of the Panthers were given awards for their season play.
Rookie of the Year in the Tod Division was awarded to Graham Dickerson and Defence of the Year was awarded to Nathan Snoek.
The Panthers came sweep the series taking the next game in Picton.
