One horse was trapped after a building/riding arena collapsed in Hamilton Township on Sunday, February 11, 2018. Hamilton Township Fire Department responded to Trotters Lane just west of Ontario Street to reports of a building collapse.

When they arrived on scene one horse who had been in the arena was trapped. Firefighters extricated the horse. A woman who was also in the barn was uninjured.

The building appears to be a total loss. Possible cause is the large amount of snow combining with the rain.
