Touching Up Afghanistan Memorial In Cobourg from Previous Vandalism

Parks Department staff were on hand at the Afghanistan Memorial repainting a side of it that was damaged by vandals in early January 2021.

Words were written in white paint over the side of the Light Armoured Vehicle (LAV) in white paint during the night and were spotted in the morning.

Police are still investigating and if anyone has any information to call police at 905372-6821 or leave an anonymous tip online at www.stopcrimehere.ca.
