Partial Collapse of Building Under Construction North of Colborne

Part of a building under construction collapsed north of Colborne on Saturday, August 29, 2020.

High winds are believed to be a major factor when a number of trusses collapsed at the large building located on Telephone Road just east of County Road 25, north of Highway 401.

A number of curious onlookers stopped on County Road 25 to look over the damage to the building.

It’s believed no one was working on the property at the time of the collapse.

It’s unknown the damage estimate.

The building will be used for storage a person on the property told Today’s Northumberland.
