Habitat House Rolls Forward to New Beginning

In Community, Local

The next Habitat for Humanity Northumberland project will started its journey from its current location at 311 University Avenue West in Cobourg on Friday, June 26, 2020.

Balder Corporation has generously donated a house to Habitat Northumberland and Hamilton Township has kindly donated a vacant building lot in Bewdley upon which the house will be placed.

This house will rest on a brand-new foundation on Beech Street in Bewdley and will be renovated and then purchased by a local family.

The first leg of the journey began shortly after 9 a.m. when the house made its way out of the Town of Cobourg and travel to its temporary location in the parking lot at Northumberland County Moving Company on Highway 28.
