Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged with Assault with a Weapon and Three Counts Breach of Probation (No Name Released)

A 29-year-old Cobourg man is facing charges after police responded to a disturbance.

On Monday, November 13, 2023, officers attended the area of King Street East for a report of a dispute between two people.

Through investigation, it was determined that a man had struck the other male in the head with an object.

As a result, a 29-year-old Cobourg man was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and three counts of breach of probation.

The accused was held for a bail hearing and later released by the courts.
