Breaking News – Flames Engulf Castleton Area Home After Vehicle Strikes House

Northumberland OPP say one person is unaccounted for after a vehicle collided with a house and caught fire early Sunday morning.

At approximately 1 a.m. Cramahe Township Fire Department were dispatched to 3780 on County Road 25 east of Castleton.

A vehicle went off the road and struck a house. Moments after the vehicle caught fire and spread to the large home.

The three adults and two children managed to escape the blaze before the home was destroyed by flames.

County Road 25 in the area of the collision is closed until further notice.

Along with Cramahe Township Fire Department, Brighton and Trent Hills Fire Departments were called for assistance.
