Cobourg Police – Camborne Woman Charged with Impaired (No Name Released)

A woman was arrested for impaired driving after police received two reports of erratic driving in the Town of Cobourg.

On Friday, September 9, 2022, at 7:40 p.m., police attended the Depalma Drive and Burnham Street area after receiving two calls reporting an individual driving a vehicle in an erratic fashion.

As a result of the police investigation, a 57-year-old Camborne woman was arrested and charged with the following offences:
1. Operation of a Conveyance While Impaired by Alcohol or Drug contrary to Section 320.14(1)(a) of the Criminal Code

2. Operation While Impaired and Operating a Conveyance with a Blood Alcohol Concentration that is Equal or Exceeds 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in 100 Millilitres of Blood contrary to Section 320.14(1)(b) of the Criminal Code

The vehicle was impounded, and the woman was released on an undertaking with a court date scheduled for September 21, 2022.
