Cobourg Police – Cobourg Woman Charged With Robbery, Forcible Confinement, Possession of Cocaine, Fentanyl (No Name Released)

On Thursday, September 1, 2022, members of the Cobourg Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch located and arrested a 29-year-old Cobourg woman on the strength of a warrant for robbery and forcible confinement. When arrested, officers located a quantity of fentanyl and cocaine. The woman was charged with the following offences:

1. Robbery, contrary to section 344(1)(b) of the Criminal Code

2. Forcible Confinement, contrary to section 279(2) of the Criminal Code

3. Possession of a schedule 1 substance – cocaine, contrary to section 4(1) of the Criminal Code

4. Possession of a schedule 1 substance – fentanyl, contrary to section 4(1) of the Criminal Code

The woman was released on an undertaking with a court date in October of 2022.
