Cobourg Opens Nomination Period for the 20th Annual Civic Awards

The Town of Cobourg’s Civic Awards Advisory Committee is now calling for nominations for the 20th Annual Civic Awards recognizing local residents who have helped benefit the community through outstanding volunteerism and community involvement.

Residents are encouraged to nominate a deserving individual to be recognized for their volunteerism within the community. The nomination form and awards category information can be found
at www.cobourg.ca/civic-awards. This year, the Civic Awards will honour the successful recipients on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, in the Concert Hall at Victoria Hall at 7 p.m.

“The last couple of years has shown us that our volunteer community in Cobourg has continued to remain strong and I am looking forward to returning to an in-person event,” said Mayor John
Henderson for the Town of Cobourg. “Consider nominating an individual deserving of a Civic Award.”

How to Nominate Someone:
(1) Review the award categories and select the most appropriate category.
(2) Complete the online nomination form.
(3) Include all required information and supporting documentation, if applicable.
(4) Submit the nomination form and any supporting documentation by Friday, January 14, 2022.
The Civic Awards Advisory Committee would like to thank the generous support of local sponsors,
