Northumberland OPP – Theft of Generator from Construction Site in Colborne

(CRAMAHE TOWNSHIP, ON) – Members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), are currently investigating the theft of a generator worth approximately $30,000 from a property on Durham Street South, located just east of the town of Colborne.

On Wednesday March 31, 2021, just after 7:30 a.m., a building contractor arrived at the location to find a mobile generator missing from the construction site. The theft is believed to have occurred during the overnight hours of March 30-31, 2021.

The towable generator reported stolen is described as a grey Wacker Neuson G25 with serial number 24510406, and a rental equipment code number 96057 affixed to it.

The Northumberland OPP is asking for the public’s assistance with this ongoing investigation and would ask that anyone with information to call their nearest OPP detachment.
