One person was taken to hospital after apparently walking into the side of a moving car in Cobourg on Wednesday, October 28, 2020.

At approximately 3:50 p.m. emergency services were called to King Street, just east of Spring Street for a person who may have been struck by a vehicle.

Today’s Northumberland obtained security video from a nearby business that shows a person walking from the north side of the street and into traffic where it appears he walks into the back of a vehicle and falls to the ground.

The street was blocked off for approximately 45-minutes as emergency services attended to the person.

The 58-year-old man was taken to Northumberland Hills Hospital and treated for what are believed to be minor injuries.
