Cobourg Police – Man Arrested for Domestic Related Criminal Harassment

On Thursday, August 27th, 2020, at approximately 3:30 pm, members of the Cobourg Police Service Compliance Management Unit arrested a man for domestic related Criminal Harassment.
The man’s identity is not being released to protect the identity and privacy of the victim. The man was charged
with the following:

1. Criminal Harassment – repeatedly communicate – Contrary to Section 264(2)(b) of the Criminal Code x 6

2. Public Mischief – Contrary to Section 140(1)(a) of the Criminal Code x 2

3. Failure to comply with undertaking -Contrary to Section 145(4)(a) of the Criminal Code x 6

4. Fraud Under $5000 – Contrary to Section CC 380(1)(b) of the Criminal Code x 3

5. Fail to Comply with Probation Order – Contrary to Section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code x 5

The accused was released to a future court date in October of 2020
