UPDATE – Northumberland OPP – Suspects Wanted For Attempted Murder After Shooting Victim Dropped Off at NHH

Two suspects wanted – pose a risk to public safety

(COBOURG, ON) – On March 24, 2020 around 10:45 AM an unknown person had “dropped off” a male party suffering from a gunshot wound at the Northumberland Hills Hospital.

The Northumberland OPP are currently seeking two accused parties and have obtained warrants for their arrest:

1.) Accused Andrew HIBBERT is described as male, black, 42 years of age, 5’7” (175cm), 216lbs (98kg) with a shaved head.

2.) Accused Kimroy PETERS is described as male, black, 23 years of age, 5’7” (175cm), 144lbs (65kg).

They are both wanted for the following criminal offences:

– Attempt to commit murder using a firearm
– Robbery using a firearm
– Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose

Both accused parties pose a risk to public safety. Members of the public are urged not to approach them if located.

Today’s Northumberland has also learned the car police were looking for is believed to have been located.
