Northumberland OPP – Daytime Break and Enter in Brighton

Members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a daytime break and enter to a residence in the town of Brighton that occurred on January 30, 2020.

Between 1:30 pm and 5:15 pm, suspect(s) entered a residence located on Raglan Street. Suspect(s) gained entry by damaging the locked front door.

The following items were reported as stolen:

· Green necklace, holding green stones.
· Solitaire diamond necklace (the diamond was a chip in it).
· Silver top ring (men’s) with a diamond in the middle.
· Friendship ring (men’s) black on top, with a diamond, and initial “T” on the ring.
· Engagement and wedding ring (soldered together, into one ring, thin)

The Northumberland OPP is asking for the public’s assistance with this ongoing investigations and would ask that anyone with information to call their nearest OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call the Peterborough/Northumberland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000 and not have to appear in court.
