Public Invited to Venture13 Innovation & Entrepreneurship Centre Grand Opening – Cobourg

(Cobourg, ON) April 18, 2018 – The Town of Cobourg along with the Northumberland Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC) and the Cobourg Police Services are pleased to invite all interested citizens to the Grand Opening of Eastern Ontario’s newest innovation and entrepreneurship centre, Venture13.

WHAT: Grand Opening of Venture 13 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre, connecting, empowering and accelerating technology startups and entrepreneurs. The event will feature tours of the facility.

WHEN and WHERE: Thursday, May 17, 2018, 5-7 p.m., 739 D’Arcy Street, Cobourg, ON, K9A 0H6. Overflow parking available at the Cobourg Community Centre.

WHO: Town of Cobourg Mayor, Council, and staff; Northumberland Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC) leaders and staff; Cobourg Police Service staff and Board Members; Northumberland Manufacturers Association (NMA) staff; Venture13 Innovation & Entrepreneurship Centre project contributors including lead architect Reno Piccini of Piccini Architect, Northumberland Makers and newly hired Venture13 staff members.

INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITIES: There will be opportunities for citizens to chat with the Venture13 Steering Committee members including Town of Cobourg, Northumberland CFDC, Northumberland Manufacturers Association and Cobourg Police Services’ staff at the conclusion of the program.
