No Injuries After Transport Goes Into Ditch On Highway 401

Emergency services responded to the westbound lanes of Highway 401 at approximately 5:45 p.m. after a transport went into the ditch on July 11, 2019.

The driver said he was leaking fluid and pulled over to the shoulder and the vehicle entered the ditch.

Members of the Port Hope Fire Department arrived on scene and blocked a lane until the transport was removed.

No word on charges.
