Fourth Annual Grace Bowen Family Fun Day This Saturday In Grafton

The fourth annual Grace Bowen Family Fun Day takes play this coming Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Grafton Arena.

Many different activities are taking place including a ball hockey tournament, radical run obstacle and pedestal jousting, bbq, art competition, firefighter challenge, and many more activities.

Grace Bowen was nine-years-old when she passed away from cancer on March 13, 2015.

The community of Grafton and well beyond supported Grace and her family during her battle and has continued to support the family in every way possible.

On Saturday, a video will be played of Grace singing O’Canada at the age of two.

Grace’s father, Greg Bowen will also be saying a few words.

There has been approximately $45,000 raised during the last three years from the event.

Overall, approximately $220,000 has been raised for the Grace Bowen Tribute Fund for childhood cancer research.
