Northumberland Classic Bicycle Race Takes Place In Hamilton Township

In News, Sports

The Northumberland Classic bicycle races took place on Saturday, May 25, 2019 starting at the Baltimore Community Centre.

The course consists of a 16.5km loop in addition to a three kilometre out and back from the start/finish line.

The course is home to the longest and toughest climb in the 2019 Ontario Cup Series.

Each loop consisted of 225 meters of elevation through the rolling hills of Northumberland with a start and finish at the Baltimore Recreation Complex.

The rain started shortly after the first race, but it just added another challenge for competitors.
