Surfing the Icy Waters of Lake Ontario

In Photo Gallery, Weather

A number of surfers hit the icy waters of Lake Ontario in Cobourg on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.
Approximately 10 surfers from eastern Ontario flocked to Cobourg to surf in the bone chilling waters of Lake Ontario.
Both men and women were surfing including one 57-year-old from Lakefield who is a teacher at Sir Sandford Fleming College in Peterborough.
After surfers arrived on shore they walked out onto the pier before jumping in for another round of battling the waves.
