Cobourg Police – Male and Female Arrested for Theft

Male and female arrested for theft under $5000.

At approximately 5:00 pm on the 6th of December 2018, the Cobourg Police Service attended Walmart located at 73 Strathy Road in Cobourg for a male and female who had been arrested for shoplifting by loss Prevention Officers.

As a result of the investigation both parties were arrested, transported to Cobourg Police Service and held for a Bail Hearing on Friday, December 7th, 2018.

25 year old Ashley HEAD of Cobourg was charged with:
1) Theft under $5,000
2) Possession of Property obtained by Crime under $5,000.
3) Fail to comply undertaking x 2
4) Fail to comply Probation x 2
40 Year old Mark Hendry was charged with:
1) Theft under $5,000
2) Possession of Property obtained by Crime under $5,000
3) Fail to comply with Probation x 2
In relation to 2 (two) outstanding warrants, Mark Hendry was also charged with:
4) Theft Under $5000.00
5) Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
6) Fraud Under $5000.00
7) Fail to Comply with Probation
