Cobourg Police – Suspect Charged After Break-In at Victoria Hall (Name Released)

On June 4th, 2026, at 6:20 am, police received a call to Victoria Hall for a break and enter with the suspect still on scene. Police immediately responded and arrested the male who had gained entry by smashing a window at the rear of the building. Scenes of Crime (SOCO) officer attended and processed the scene, and officers conducted a search of the building to ensure there were no other persons inside.

As a result of the investigation, 22-year-old Ryan DENIS of Cobourg was charged with the following:
• Break and Enter
• Theft Under $5,000
• Possession of Property obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Ryan DENIS was released on an undertaking with conditions and a future court date.
