Belleville Police – Temporary Lockdown at a West End Secondary School

On March 26th at 12:26, Belleville Police responded to a report of an individual inside a West End Secondary School with a firearm.

Upon arrival and further investigation, officers located a teenager nearby in possession of a replica firearm and several knives.

The 15-year-old Belleville male is facing weapons charges.

The school was placed on lockdown while police responded, but the lockdown has since been lifted.

The investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Belleville Police Service at 613-966-0882.
