City of Kawartha Lakes OPP – Toronto Man Charged with Possession for Purpose of Trafficking x5 (Name Released)

The City of Kawartha Lakes Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual following a traffic stop on Saturday evening.

At approximately 10:00 p.m. on Highway 35, an officer conducted a traffic stop, which led to an investigation into drug trafficking.

As a result of the investigation, 41-year-old Anthony Davis-Harriot from Toronto was arrested and charged with the following:

Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking X 5

Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000

The accused was rel eased from custody with conditions and is scheduled to appear in court in Lindsay on a later date.

The Ontario Provincial Police remains dedicated to protecting the citizens of Ontario, upholding the law, and ensuring public safety.
