Lansdowne Place Mall Investigation – Update

A Peterborough Police Service investigation continues at Lansdowne Place Mall.  Just after 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, the mall was successfully evacuated, and we thank everyone for their cooperation and patience.

Officers with the Peterborough Police Service will continue to have a presence in the area and all entrances to the mall are currently blocked. The mall has been closed for the evening.

The Peterborough Police Service RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) will be up as part of the investigation.

Lansdowne Place Mall Investigation

Officers with the Peterborough Police Service responded to a call for service at Lansdowne Place Mall just after 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

As a precaution, the mall has been temporarily closed and evacuated.

We are asking people to avoid the area at this time.  It’s not known how long the closure will be in effect.
