Breaking News – Serious Collision Closes Old Highway 2 in Trenton

A serious collision has closed a major artery in Trenton on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.

A head-on collision on Old Highway 2 just east of CFB Trenton occurred at approximately 3:50 p.m.

Quinte West OPP, Quinte West Fire Department and Hastings and Prince Edward County Paramedics responded to the collision.

At least two people have suffered critical injuries.

Today’s Northumberland will update when more details become available.
