Join us for a presentation by Brian Porter who tells the story of Major James Walsh of Brockville, one of the original officers of the North West Mounted Police. Major Walsh met and befriended Sioux Chief Sitting Bull in 1877, when thousands of Sioux came to Canada after the defeat of Lt. Col. Custer.
