Cobourg Man Charged with Assault

A 40-year-old Cobourg man charged with assault after police respond to a disturbance on Monday.

On Monday, December 2, 2024, at approximately 5:00 pm, police were called to a disturbance on Division Street in Cobourg.

Police arrived to find a group of individuals. It was reported that the group was involved in a verbal
altercation that escalated. One individual poked and threw a pop at another.

As a result of the police investigation, a 40-year-old was arrested and charged with assault. The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date.

Cobourg Man and Woman Charged with Assault

Two Cobourg residents charged after police responded to a domestic disturbance.

On Monday, December 2, 2024, at approximately 8:20 pm, police were called to a home in Cobourg for a
report of domestic assault. It was reported that a couple engaged in a verbal dispute escalated and both
individuals were assaulted.

As a result of the police investigation, a Cobourg man and Cobourg woman were charged with assault.

Both were released on an undertaking with future court dates
