Update – Durham Regional Police – Thirteen-Year-old Cyclist Succumbs to Injuries Following Collision

A 13-year-old female has died after being transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre following a collision in Ajax.

On Thursday, November 7, 2024, at approximately 7:35 a.m., officers from West Division responded to a collision on Rossland Road West near Stevensgate Drive. A 13-year-old female was air-lifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre in life-threatening condition.

She has since succumbed to her injuries.
