Cobourg Police Service (CPS) is reinforcing the importance of community involvement in crime prevention and resolution, encouraging residents to report non-emergency crime online,
by phone, or anonymously through Peterborough & Northumberland Crime Stoppers (Crime Stoppers).
We encourage community members to report suspicious activity and crime, whether big or small. To ensure that reports are addressed promptly and appropriately, we ask that residents not report over social media or email but access the established channels for reporting crime.

We always appreciate residents’ time and effort to report crime and information about criminal activity to the police,” says Detective Randall Curr. “Ensuring you report through the proper channels allows us to collect the appropriate information for follow-up and investigations. Crime Stoppers provides a confidential way for individuals to report information about crimes, which is crucial for keeping our neighbourhoods safe.”
How to Report Non-Emergency Crime or Information
Please do not report over social media or email. Report non-emergency crimes to CPS online or by phone.
