Durham Police – Sleep Clinic Technician Charged with Sexual Assault (Name Released)

A male employed as a sleep clinic technician has been arrested after he sexually assaulted a patient during her appointment in Oshawa.

 On Saturday, January 13, 2024, the victim attended the Oshawa Centre for Sleep Medicine located at 13 Charles Street.  During the victim’s appointment, the clinician made numerous inappropriate comments and acted in an unprofessional manner.

 Police are concerned there may be other victims and have attached an image of the accused.

 Sardar HOQUE, age 51 from Scarborough is charged with: Sexual Assault.

 He was released on an Undertaking.

 Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact D/Cst. Hartry of the Central East Division Criminal Investigations Branch at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2770.
