Cobourg Police – Cobourg Resident Arrested for Theft (No Name Released)

On Saturday the 30th day of December 2023, POLICE responded to a residential address in the downtown core regarding a theft from the redisence. POLICE investigation determined a delivered packaged had been removed from the exterior of the home.

POLICE identified and later arrested a 31-year-old Cobourg resident. The accused was charged with Theft Under $5,000.00 Contrary to Section 334(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released from Police custody on the strength of an undertaking scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on the 7th day of February 2024.
