Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a stolen pontoon boat taken from a waterfront property on Balsam Lake.
Sometime between 11:00 p.m. on June 30, 202 6, and 6:00 a.m. on July 1, 2026, an unknown suspect(s) stole a 2023 Starcraft LX18R pontoon boat from a private residential dock on Balsam Lake Drive in Kirkfield.
The stolen vessel is described as:
2023 Starcraft LX18R pontoon boat
Black and beige in colour
Ontario licence number: ON8773213
Hull Identification Number (HIN): STRB3149A323
Police are asking residents, boaters, marina operators, and members of the public to report any sightings of the vessel or any information that may assist investigators.
