Officers with the Peterborough Police Service are investigating after two break and enter incidents early Friday morning.
The first incident happened at approximately 1:00am on July 10, 2026. Officers were called to a gas station on Highway 7 near Brown Line about a break and enter. Upon arrival, officers searched the store to make sure no one was inside. After reviewing security footage, officers could see a red SUV pull up to the store, three people exit the vehicle, smash the window, enter the store and then leave with two storage totes of items.
The second incident happened at approximately 2:00am on July 10, 2026. Officers were called to a convenience store in the Park Street South and Braidwood Avenue area about a break and enter. Security video shows a red SUV pull up to the store and two people smashing their way in before leaving with storage totes of items.
The suspects are described as
Suspect #1:
- Driver of the vehicle
- All black Nike jogger, black Jordan sneakers, black balaclava, red gloves, appears to be white male approximately 5’10”
Suspect #2:
- All black sweatsuit, black balaclava, black leather gloves, grey adidas sneakers, appears to be white male, approximately 6’0″
- Carried sledgehammer
Suspect #3:
- Black zippered hoodie, green camouflage cargo style shorts with black pants underneath, black boots, camouflage balaclava, black gloves, appears to be white male, approximately 6’0″.
