Video – Hundreds of Empty Beer Cans Stolen from Grafton Convenience Store

In Police Blotter

Northumberland OPP are investigating after hundreds of empty beer cans were stolen from a convenience store in Grafton recently.

In the early morning hours of April 15, 2026 three suspects pulled up to the convenience store located at the corner of County Road 2 and Old Danforth Road between the hours of 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. in a U-Haul cube van.

Backing up to the area where empty beer cans are stored, the back door of the U-Haul opened up and two suspects jumped out. A third suspect backed up to the bin of empties while the other two suspects emptied the entire load into the back of the U-Haul.

It took the suspects just over one-minute before they made off with over $300 worth of empties.

An identification number can been seen on the U-Haul which may help who rented the vehicle, but Northumberland OPP has not update as of May 15, 2026.
