Northumberland OPP – Fatal ATV Rollover in Campbellford

Members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision on an off-road trail.

On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at approximately 4:15 p.m., officers received a call reporting a single vehicle rollover involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV). As a result, a 14-year-old male from the Municipality of Trent Hills was taken to Campbellford Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The trail remained closed in both directions for several hours between Burnbrae Rd. East and Loucks Rd. for the on-site investigation, with assistance from the OPP Technical Collision Investigation and Reconstruction teams.
